Accounting firm, logistics management company team up to provide supply chain services
J.H. Cohn LLP, one of the nation’s largest and oldest accounting firms, has announced it will create a joint venture with TOTALogistix, Inc. to offer logistics services.
The joint venture, to be known as Cohn Logistics, will provide supply chain expertise to J.H. Cohn clients and companies who can benefit from the two partners’ expertise. J.H. Cohn, with revenues of over $250 million, has offices all over the New York metro area, as well as California and the Cayman Islands.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for TOTALogistix,” said TOTAL CEO Scott Shearer. “Cohn’s stature and reputation give us the chance to talk to some of the most influential and substantial companies in America.” Headquartered in Sparta, NJ, TOTALogistix has offices in New York and New England.
“I am looking forward to working together. I think this is going to be a great alliance,” said David Rubin, principal of Cohn Consulting Group. “With Cohn Logistics, we have another area where we can provide valuable consulting services.”
“I’ve worked with both companies for years,” said David Fraser, the Vice President & CFO of Royal Consumer Information Products. “It’s a natural. With TOTALogistix’ in-depth understanding of the nuances of the supply chain, they can improve your distribution in ways you never thought possible. ‘Win Win’ is an overused term but in this case it is entirely apropos.”
