Knowledge is Power – Share It!

Please let us know of anyone else in your organization who could benefit from logistics news.

Sometimes, in talking to our clients, we hear that one of our periodic email messages 1) was interesting and informative, 2) alerted them to something they needed to know, or 3) needed to be brought to the attention of someone else in the company.

We’ve also heard 4) “Why didn’t someone tell me this?” from an executive who was not on our distribution list. If there are others in your organization or elsewhere who could benefit from updates and insights into the supply chain world, just hit “reply” and let us know. Due to the miracle of electronic communication, it’s easy to add addressees.

Last year, we reported on parcel carriers’ hidden dimensional weight charges, ocean carriers using slow steaming to reduce overcapacity in container platforms, how to beat the seasonal crunch in cross-country trucking, and a good reason to shift your supply chain thinking from “just in time” to “just in case” (think Iceland), just to mention a few. Knowledge is power, and we want to share it with you.

Who else do you know who could use some solutions?
